Communicator of the Year Award
Effective leaders know that communication is the key to prosperous organizations and successful careers. Since 1998, the Thoroughbred Chapter has recognized those leaders who have excelled in their communications with peers, employees, the public and the media. To qualify for the annual Communicator of the Year Award, individuals must meet the following criteria:
  • Must demonstrate an ethical approach to communications.
  • Must demonstrate effective internal and external communication skills.
  • Must not be employed in the fields of public relations, advertising or marketing.
  • Must live in Central Kentucky in one of the following counties: Anderson, Bath, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Menifee, Mercer, Montgomery, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, Washington and Woodford.
A panel comprised of Thoroughbred Chapter members will judge the nominations. Winners are chosen based solely on nomination material. All decisions are final.
