February PRSA Program:

"Bring Your Business Cards"
This month will be all about networking amongst our PRSA member peers

$20 PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter Members (register)
$17 Students/PRSSA & Associate Members (register)
$25 Potential Members & Guests (register)

About the Luncheon:
Our next luncheon will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Carrabba's in Hamburg from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. We will get to know our fellow PRSA members a little better on this day. First, we will hear from a few members on what duties they are assigned as a public relations professional, their greatest accomplishment and biggest lesson learned.

The second half of the luncheon, we will have a speed networking session. The plan is to have you spend a little time with several members. So bring your business cards and be prepared to discuss how you make a difference in the field of public relations.

The event is $20 for PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter Members and $25 for potential members.

Thanks for stopping by to learn more about the Thoroughbred Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

We are a group of Central Kentucky communication professionals representing a variety of industries and years of experience in the public relations field.  We offer valuable professional development and networking opportunities throughout the year through our monthly luncheons and other events.

After browsing this site, I would encourage you to attend our monthly luncheons to experience for yourself the benefits of being a PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter member.  To learn more about the benefits of membership, feel free to email any one of our Board Members or contact me directly (859.221.3885 | @ryanworthen | rworthen@kemi.com).  You can also sign up (on the right side of the page) to receive our e-Newsletter, “The Loop”, to stay informed about what’s happening with our Chapter. Last but certainly not least, be sure to follow us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/kyprsa) and Twitter (@kyprsa).

I hope you consider joining us as we strive to gain a better understanding of effective public relations, and I welcome your feedback as we work together to strengthen our profession.

Best regards,

Ryan Worthen
President, Thoroughbred Chapter
